This artwork began with a composition of a photo of wood slats with a blue jay photo laid on top of that. A photograph was taken of the composition. Multiple digital alterations of the photo were printed and cut into strips; those were pieced together with handmade paper, a vintage world map (found on a sidewalk!) and colored pencil.
