Digital alterations were made of a photo composite of 3 pelicans and a Claude Monet painting (Water Lilies). Five of those versions were printed on a laser printer, cut into strips and combined with vintage postage stamps and shredded currency. Claude Monet’s Water Lilies, 1915-26; in the public domain.
